I experienced amazing views of the Alcazaba right from my room's balcony. The breakfast selection was very nice, with a perfect mix of hot dishes and fresh fruits. I enjoyed some good Cava. The proximity to the charming Georgian bar offered fantastic dining options just a few steps away.

The hotel is clean has a marvellous location and EXCELLENT views. The staff are very good, managed the parking in the streets. The beach restaurant for breakfast is what you need.

Excellant and really friendly stuff ensures you spend a very lovely time here. The rooms are reasonably priced and decent size with central heating, a laptop-compatible safe, and flat-screen television.

Had a comfy room with a great harbor view! Breakfast spread was excellent, lots of great choices. Just wish dinner had more options for vegetarians. Still, a decent stay overall!

The kindness of the bar staff.

25 € for leaving at 17:00 from the hotel is disproportionate to the price of the room.

The exorbitant rise in price from one day to the next, when I extend my stay for work reasons, without prior notice when I book initially. They should have respected the initial price for those already accommodated.

The room was spacious and bright, with a beautiful balcony with fine views of the Alcazaba and the sea. The friendly staff always went out of their way to assist me and were cute.

Good location, good deal, good clean.

As the hotel has just been refurnished, the parking was not available. Also check out time is too early

We had dinner but we were not happy as the food was served cold and the portions were very small, also there was a bad smell in the public toilets and neither the ladies or the gents had soap in them

The location is perfect for exploring local attractions.

During my two-night stay, I encountered several issues. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridors . While I found the staff at reception to be present, their lack of engagement was great. The bar service was annoyingly slow, leading me to leave without ordering anything after waiting too long.

The relaxed atmosphere in general. The Junior Suite was very spacious and comfortable and room service was good. The position of the hotel is quite central to all areas of historical interest as well as good shopping close by.

Whilst the food in the bar area and restaurant were of good value the breakfasts were a bit short on choice and a little expensive.

I have stayed in this hotel before and was so excited to be returning to Almeria. The location of the hotel is fabulous ,adjacent to everything and with wonderful views of port and sea. Sound from 6 fountains beside hotel just magical and completely drowned traffic noise, Staff are so attentive and pleasant and requests are attended to immediately. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We didnt eat dinner in hotel but in Italian Restaurant just across road, highly recommended for all lovers of Italian food.Cant wait to take my third guest,my husband , back to Almeria having been twice already with my daughter and my sister. Will be booking Citymar Gran Hotel again DV. Thank you for wonderful memories.

I was kinda surprised by the really good breakfast every morning, with a good array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hearty hot dishes. The staff were consistently attentive, and the location was perfect for exploring the vibrant city.

Some areas felt a bit dated.

A car park and freshly cooked and great breakfast with tasty hot food and omeletts, for example. Polite staff, comfortable stay.

Great ocean view and a lovely seasonal pool. Wi-Fi was annoyingly slow .
